SOME USEFUL HACKING TOOLS FOR WINDOWS PC

Hacking has become an integral part of the cyber society due mainly to the fact that people try to better the services or cyber products being offered so try to break into the service or product to know how secure it is.

Hackers have been breaking codes, some for good reasons and others for bad reasons. It is good to know how secure your product is so try out some of the most used hacking tools available for Windows Pc and find out for Yourself.

Nmap/ Network Maper:

This tool is pretty simple and efficient. It uses viscous IP scanning means to check open ports, service up time, and many other important network scans. It also supports Mac OSx

Metasploit:

This find weakness in the network and makes backdoors to it ones one is found. There is a free version and Pro version. Download what you will feel conformable with.

Cain and Abel:

This is a password recovery tool for sniffing and cracking passwords of networks.

Angry IP Scanner:

This is a light tool for scanning IP address for open doors and ports. Available on Linux,Windows, and Mac.

John the Ripper:

This use Dictionary attack to crack passwords. It takes strings from word list which is made up of common and complex passwords and tests them to the password it is cracking till it gains access or cracks it.

Acunetix:

This is my favorite vulnerability scanner. It scans a website and gives all possible vulnerability with attack strategy.

THC Hydra:

This is not another password cracker but a simple - sophisticated cracker which supports many protocols and combinations.

AirCrack-ng:

This is a very useful tool for cracking WEP and WPA-PSK wifi. It has mass loyal followers which range from pro to N00bs.

Burp Suite:

This has two popular tools within, one for scanning and the other for performing automated attacks, namely Spider and Intruder.

Nessus Remote Scanner:

This is used by some of the worlds biggest firms to check their systems.

As the Anonymous vs ISIS wars heats up Anonymous has released a simple guide on how to track ISIS on twitter. This has been around for sometime and ISIS has released a dump counter which does not do much since the war is on the turf of Anonymous.

Isis gave the most basic steps of being safe online which when dealing with Anonymous is irrelevant .

The guide is in three folds , N00b guide on how to hack Isis based Website, Reporter( setting up a twitter bot to track Isis), and Searcher(How to discover and take down Isis related Sites and social media accounts).

N00b guide is for guiding total N00bs into the art of hacking websites but focusing on Isis websites. This guide is not detailed but introduces anyone to the tools needed to hack a website.

HOW TO FIND FAKE FACEBOOK SITES BASIC PHISHING WEBSITES

A Phishing site is first of all a fake website created by scammers/hackers to collect basically your login information and do whatever they want with it.

With this out we can continue with hunting down them.

Finding these sites are mostly very easy but advance once ones can be very tricky.

To find out these just follow the points.

1. The basic is very easy, find your favorite internet browser and login to Facebook on it.

NB: Most genuine websites use secured means of auto login with Facebook which does not require you the owner of the Facebook account to re-login to your account.

2. Now whenever you enter website the ask of Facebook login and it does not login auto or does not use this Oauth access then the site is mostly fake.

Note: The above images are similar login access required but most sites when they ask for a Facebook login.

3. Now when ever you login is to a sites which ask for a login through Facebook you should check the address bar ( the box in which you type in your Facebook address). The Original Facebook is address is in this format www.facebook.com or https://www.facebook.com/?_rdr and anything else.

Note that if the facebook page is hosted at wapka.mobi then Mozilla Firefox will not open it and you would see Big W on the Title bar.
